Michael Deadder

CEO & Partner

Mike has lived and worked at the intersection of media + advertising, finance and technology for over two decades.   His banking credentials include formal training as a member of the Credit Suisse International Bankers School and included senior VP roles at the two largest Japanese Banks, in addition to Credit Suisse.  As a TMT banker he has been present and deployed capital through several economic and investment cycles, both in the US markets and abroad.  He has been a principal in four start-ups and is active in the NY technology and investor communities.

Recently Mike was an advisor to one of the most successful social media influencer technology companies and played an instrumental role in supporting their successful seed round and introducing marquee accounts.    

As a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and long time resident of NYC Mike has deep access to Silicon Valley and East Coast business circles and capital.  

Dinny Devitre

Partner & Advisor

Dinyar (Dinny) Devitre is an international business executive who has held leadership positions over a 40 year period in the consumer products industry and banking in Asia, Australia, Japan, Europe, and the U.S.  He is currently a Special Advisor to General Atlantic Partners, a Private Equity Group In New York and is a member of the Board of Directors of Altria Group, Inc., SABMiller, plc, IHS Markit Ltd., where he is the Chairman of the Audit Committee.  In addition, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Brooklyn Academy of Music and is Chairman Pratham USA.  He was a Director of Kraft Foods Inc. from 2002-2007, Western Union Inc. from 2006-2015, and Director of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts from 2002-2010.

Mr. Devitre has held a number of senior executive positions with Philip Morris and then with Altria.  Most recently he was Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Altria Group Inc., a role he held from 2002 to 2008 before retiring from the Company.  Between 1998 and 2001, Mr. Devitre was Executive Vice President and Group Head of Citibank’s Global Consumer Bank for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.  

Mark Grether


Mark Grether was co-founder and Global COO of WPP’s Xaxis, the largest programmatic media company in the world with offices in 46 markets, more than 3,000 clients and an estimated market cap of 4bn.

At Xaxis, Mark was the driving force of disrupting the media industry by introducing new principles for media agencies. Based on owning digital media as a principal, investing into proprietary technology and harnessing its own audience data, Xaxis grew under the leadership of Mark into a billion dollars in revenue in just five years. Under his management, Xaxis became the global pacesetter for the programmatic advertising industry, pioneering numerous technology firsts and bringing programmatic to major new markets including China and Latin America. In 2014, he was instrumental in completing one of the most significant ad tech deals to date, selling Xaxis’ Open AdStream to AppNexus in conjunction with WPP taking a nearly 15% equity stake in AppNexus.

Mark is a seasoned and entrepreneurial executive with over 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising and media. He brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths in areas such as digital media, big data, technology development, product marketing, media monetization, trading, data science, organizational development, startups and entrepreneurship. With an abundance of international experience, Mark has a strong understanding of various markets throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Mark has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mannheim in Germany, a Master of Arts in Marketing from the University of Florida, and a PhD from the University of Mannheim. As a former Professor of Marketing, Mark’s work has appeared in more than 50 publications. He has been a featured speaker at conferences across the world. Mark lives in New York City with his wife and two sons.

Mike Racic

Mike currently runs the Media Services group within iCrossing, managing planning, buying, and analytics across all channels. Racic’s background as both a media executive and communications planner with 18+ years in the business, combined with being a programmatic tech expert is the kind of mix essential for servicing clients looking to maximize their return in a scattered media culture.  Prior to iCrossing, Mike was the SVP, Director of Agency Partnerships and Category Strategy at RocketFuel and also held EVP, head of global planning and strategy roles with UM and J3. He is a frequent speaker and regularly published across various topics within the media space.

Brian M. Decker

Brian has over 20 years of digital marketing and media experience developing effective campaigns for Clients including Synchrony Bank, Domino’s Pizza, Boehringer Ingelheim, Goldman Sachs, IHG, Novartis, Dell, Autobytel and Ameriprise. 

Brian has developed a reputation for his strategic, data-driven and relentless approach to effectively “Move Rocks and Measure Distance” focus based on Client’s business and marketing performance goals.

Brian has focused his extensive strategic expertise at the intersection of data, digital and media.  He utilizes an opportunity mapping and growth-focused media investment portfolios across premium and programmatic display, video, cross-device, mobile, social, hyper-local, multi-cultural and native.  He also helped develop for the IAB the pilot certification program for agency planners and buyers.

Over the years he has also worked at key agency holding companies including, GroupM, Omnicom, Publicis, IPG as well as global marketing position at the International Data Group.

Brian has also presented at leadership conferences and panels for the IAB, MMA, Digiday, OMMA, Mobile Media Summit and the AMA.  He has also been a guest lecturer at NYU and CUNY Marketing Communications programs.

Sanjeeb Chaudhuri

Partner & Advisor

Sanjeeb Chaudhuri is a Board member and Advisor to various organisations across Europe and Asia.

He has over four decades of senior multinational business experience across global banks and consumer companies. He has been Regional Business Head for India and South Asia and Global Head of Brand and Chief Marketing Officer at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to that, Sanjeeb was CEO of Retail and Commercial Banking for Citigroup Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before entering the financial services space, Sanjeeb held senior roles at Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive and Procter & Gamble.

His operating experience includes driving digital transformation at global organisations across Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Most recently, he has personally driven Standard Chartered Bank's global pivot to digital and mobile marketing and created innovative approaches to Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) attribution.

Sanjeeb was a key driver of Standard Chartered Bank's sponsorship of the United Nations Global Goals in 2015 which reached 3 billion people globally with the UN's Sustainability Goals message in 3 weeks. This was achieved through an innovative mix of online media and partnerships across sports, culture, non-profit and commercial organisations.

Sanjeeb's current portfolio includes Retail, FinTech and Marketing Tech businesses. He is an Independent Director and Audit Committee member at Aditya Birla Group, one of the largest exchange listed business groups in India with a turnover of $42 billion and over 120,000 employees. He is also a founder Director of Stab, a unique UK registered FinTech platform to aggregate real estate brokers globally.

He is International Advisory Board member of The Open University School of Business and Law, UK. He is a visiting faculty on Business Strategy, Financial Services and New Age Marketing at Wharton School of Business and Judge Business School. Sanjeeb has been Director of Citigroup Europe plc, Dublin, Bank Handlowy, Poland and Standard Chartered Securities Ltd, India.

Sanjeeb has an MBA in Marketing and has completed an Advanced Management Program. He is a featured speaker at premier global marketing and media events in Europe and Asia. He was listed among the Top 25 Media Visionaries in Asia Pacific in 2016.

Steve Goldberg

Partner & Advisor

Steve Goldberg has been recruiting in the digital space for more than 20 years.  He is the co-Owner and Managing Partner of Media Recruiting Group, the leading National executive search firm specializing in Digital Media, Ad Tech, and Media-focused SaaS Technology recruitment.  Steve drives the strategic direction of MRG, where he and his firm have managed talent searches on behalf of thousands of companies in the space at various stages of their development - early stage and mid-stage companies, as well as large established media organizations.

Prior to executive search, Steve held positions in business and financial management.  He spent 9 years as the Chief Financial Officer for JMW Consultants Inc., an International Management Consulting firm, where he managed finance, budgeting, human resources, legal and technology.  Before joining JMW, Steve held positions with firms in Telecommunication, Education/Training, and “Big-4” Public Accounting fields.

Steve has an MBA in Finance from New York University and earned his CPA right after undergraduate. He serves as Emeritus Director, Board of Directors for the Westchester Youth Soccer League and has been an Adjunct Professor for NYU-Polytechnic University.  Steve is a member of various organizations, including the NYU Entertainment, Media and Technology Alumni Steering Committee, 212NYC, and SheRunsIt, and he has spoken in various industry panels and events.

Risa Goldberg


Risa Goldberg is President, co-Owner and Founder of Media Recruiting Group, a premier US executive search firm focused in digital. For over 20 years under Risa’s leadership, she has brought excellence to the multitude of clients and candidates with whom she has worked – quality is at the heart of everything Risa does.

Vincent Potier


Board Director, Captify (and consultant); 
Founder, London Digital Ventures Limited
Vincent has over 20 years experience in the media and marketing industry (of which over 15 years were spent in digital media). 
He is one of the pioneers and thought leaders of the industry in Europe.
More recently, Vincent was the COO of search intelligence company Captify from 2013 until December 2017. As the COO, he was responsible for sales, client services, publisher solutions and ad operations globally. He now is a consultant for Captify, working on key strategic aspects of the business.
He is a renowned digital expert and has an in-depth knowledge of the marketing industry. His experience in the sector has meant he has been a much sought after advisor for digital businesses (ad tech companies, agencies, advertisers). At Captify he will focus on commercial, operational and strategic matters and will provide a wealth of experience to further boost business growth.
Before Captify, Vincent was a consultant for Rocket Fuel across its operating companies in Europe. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director for Vonage UK and Canada where he was responsible for the financial and commercial turn around for the businesses. 
Vincent has extensive sales, marketing and general management experience and has spent his career honing his business development, management and strategy skills globally. Vincent has had a number of roles across Europe, Asia and Latin America, consulting on digital strategies in the ad tech, agency and client space. 
Vincent is also an active speaker within the industry as well as a member of the IAB Behavioural targeting council, regulatory and legal affairs council, GDPR committee, and a former Board advisor to eTail Europe. Finally, Vincent is also a GDPR expert for ad tech companies.

Robert Howgate

Managing Director

Rob joined ConnectDG as Managing Partner, working alongside James to develop and expand the UK recruitment and International launch strategy, utilising 15 years of media experience and a network that spans the globe with some of the fastest growing AdTech and Digital media companies and some of the leading Founder/CEO’s in our space. Prior to joining ConnectDG Rob worked to Sales Director level at some of London's leading lights, including Captify and Burst Media after gaining Senior Commercial experience at News International, The Mirror Group and Rob has a developed a data savvy approach to understanding the ever-evolving digital trends and technologies. He always gains a deep understanding of his clients' needs, their positioning and their current sales and marketing efforts to help them identify areas where they can expand. This approach allows Rob to locate the best candidates for his clients while also helping them grow strategically and identify opportunities to launch into new markets.

Michelle Vince


Michelle brings deep experience in leveraging digital media and technology to transform enterprises for the modern marketplace. Today, she runs a thriving consulting practice where she leverages her network to deliver revenue for publishers, engagement and reach for advertisers, and relevant, engaging experiences for consumers.

Prior to starting her own consultancy, Michelle was Senior Director, Business Development and Syndication at Magnet Media where she was responsible for all facets of Magnet’s distribution business, including product development, revenue growth, and partnerships. Before to Magnet, Michelle ran Video Strategy for global semantic search company, NTNET.

Michelle has diverse experience working with teams to develop brand messaging, launch digital products, and most recently, consult for cutting-edge technology enterprises in both the not-for-profit for profit sectors.

Shawn Yang


Shawn brings extensive experience from the digital media, advertising technology, and marketing technology space. Currently Shawn runs a small consultancy where he advises startups on fund-raising, strategy, and operations. Prior to this he has worked in corporate strategy at Adobe, corporate development at Gracenote/Nielsen, and business development at several smaller startups.

Earlier in his career Shawn has also worked in engineering and venture capital. Shawn is currently based in NYC  but has lived for many years in the Silicon Valley as well as Asia-Pacific.

Shawn has a bachelor's degree from University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Cornell University.

Kira Golenko


Prior to joining, Kira was a Distressed Debt Analyst at Debtwire. With a focus on media, retail and energy sectors, she issued research on public and private distressed companies evaluating their credit stability, operational performance and capital structure. Earlier, Kira was an Analyst at Novus Partners, where she provided portfolio analytics and marketing support to hedge fund and allocator clients in the U.S. and Europe. Kira had an accelerated graduation with Summa Cum Laude in Finance from SUNY Buffalo. She is involved with a non-profit organization StreetSquash and is a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds, as well as YPE. Kira is also an avid tennis player, as she competed throughout the junior circuit in Europe and played Division I in college.
